Duration: 3-6 months with possible conversion to full-time employment
STRATEGIES! is hiring a storyteller. We have the content, we need you to help you tell our stories. In 31 years as one of Africa’s renowned consulting firms, we have amassed an enormous amount of knowledge, experience and tremendous skills. We continue to do so daily. As technical experts, we struggle to tell our stories in ways in which our different audiences can easily understand and appreciate.
If you have:
- Knowledge: Storytelling techniques in various formats (written, visual, video) – Various software that can be used for these formats – S0me understanding of African development challenges – A working understanding of French – A Bachelor’s degree.
- Skills: Telling technical stories in a language and formats that are accessible to all – Mastery of the English language and its variants in tone and vocabulary – Very good writing skills and good capacity on visuals and video – Extremely good listening skills – Fast and accurate on the computer – Planning skills – Creative and structured
- Attitude: The willingness to learn, learn, learn and learn again – Quickstudy – Thinking outside the box – Willing to try, fail quickly, learn and succeed – Work very well in teams – Achieve your objectives independently.
If you can work in-person in our offices in Douala, Cameroon, this is our preference.

If you are highly qualified, come for a short-term contract that can become full employment.
If you are sharp and bright with not so much experience, don’t be shy. Come for an internship, learn and grow. You could become full-time staff.
