Our Role
STRATEGIES! provides facilitation services for regional meetings of SPARC
partners, as well as individualized technical support for each of the 4 campaigns.
We are working with partners in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Uganda to
increase women’s economic opportunity and ensure gender equality in the
private and public sectors.
Impact
Through our work, partners in Kenya have engaged the national government in
providing more government procurement opportunities to women business
owners. In Nigeria, our partner is advocating for gender parity on the nations
largest corporate boards. Our Uganda partner has worked closely with the
Ministries of Finance and Agriculture to increase women’s access to farming
technical services and government resources. In South Africa, our partner is
working to create equal opportunities for women in the economic sphere at the
national and regional SADC level.
