The Vital Voices Global Ambassadors Program is dedicated to advancing the
conversation around the importance of women’s leadership and participation
in the economic, political and social spheres. STRATEGIES! designed and
implemented a multi-day workshop that included structured mentoring of
established and emerging women leaders form around the world, as well as
the creation of a global platform for advancing women’s issues in a
coordinated way.

Participants of the workshop developed a global strategy to contribute to the
post-UN Millennium Development Goals discussion. Through this effort,
women leaders from around the world will work together to ensure that
gender equality and women’s empowerment remain a priority in the
international conversation.
