Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme: Agriculture and Food Security
Our Role
Working with representatives from across the continent, STRATEGIES! facilitated the multi-
stakeholder workshop dedicated to improving CAADP implementation and effectiveness. The
meeting assessed the status of each member’s national food and agricultural security plans, the
value of non-state actors in CAADP implementation, and the remaining needs for technical
support.
Impact
Participants developed an integrated, continental platform for improving food security across
the region. The resulting outcomes also included a concrete work plan for engaging strategic
development partners when implementing CAADP programming.
