STRATEGIES ! ACTIVITIES (JANUARY – APRIL 2017)

Between January and April 2017, STRATEGIES! worked with partners such as ICGLR, BGFI Bank Gabon and the German Federal Foreign Office.

  • OUR FIRM’S STRATEGIC RETREAT

 Objectives: Evaluating the 2014-2016 vision. Analyzing the activities undertaken in 2016. Defining a new vision for 2017-2019.

Activities: Share experiences on consultancy with ‘Ex-Strateges’. Discussion with two young ‘Startupers’ from Buea’s Silicon Mountain: Churchill MAMBE NANJE; co-founder of Njorku and Faith MPARA, who co-founded New Generation Technologies.

STRATEGIES! Staff share experiences with ‘Ex-Strateges’

  • The ANNUAL PLANNING WORKSHOP WITH ICGLR

Participants: The Executive Secretary, Programme Officers, Center Directors, and several Assistants.

Objective: Assist the staff in developing a new action plan and improving the organization of their work.

Activities: Individual working sessions with Programme Officers in order to prepare for the training session. Definition of a strategic framework for 2018-2020. Identification of key priorities and finalization of the 2017 operational plan.

 

  • BGFI BANK GABON STRATEGIC RETREAT

Objective : Defining the strategic orientation in order to improve the team’s and the bank’s performance. Strengthening the work system (« Leading for performance »).

Activity: Team Building (STRATEGIES ! has many years of international experience in this service).

 

  • Ms Kah WALLA (STRATEGIES ! CEO) AT THE 2017 EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMATS TRAINING PRGRAMME

This is a programme developed by the German Federal Foreign Office. STRATEGIES ! intervention was based on analyzing methods, models and concepts used in mediation, with a focus on UN and AU.

  • WORK SESSION WITH THE ICGLR SECRETARIAT ON ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Participants: Members of the ICGLR Secretariat.

Objective: Improve the organizational development of this regional institution.

Before getting into the issue itself, every participant determined what he/she is good at and their expectations
